Russia
Russian publishers AST, who have already published Demon of the Air, have bought my second novel, Shadow of the Lords.
More about Short Stories
My short stories continue to do well. "One of Our Barbarians is Missing" was in Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine in January, and the March/April double issue featured my longest short story yet, "Four Hundred Rabbits". The Mammoth Book of Best British Mysteries, edited by Maxim Jakubowski, includes one of mine, "Jade Skirt". And I've just sold another story - again to Ellery Queen's - entitled "The Girl from the Pleasure House." It may be some time before he next appears between the covers of a book, but in the meantime, Yaotl is alive and well.ories.
